The founders of Crate and Barrel, Gordon and Carole, are true heroes worthy of admiration and imitation. Once, in the distant 60s, who returned from their honeymoon to their native Boston, the young family was anxiously aware that there were no shops in the city selling modern and, most importantly, affordable home goods that they had seen so much during their travels in Europe. They did not grieve for a long time and decided to carry furniture from abroad on their own, and very soon they established their own production. After 50 years, today the company has 7,000 employees and more than 100 stores, but the brand’s philosophy is unchanged to this day – to offer high-quality and stylish products that are affordable for many!
