Rendall & Wright turned the 19th-century dairy farm into a modern living space. This house, surrounded by green lawns and a garden, used to be a barn for cows, so when remodeling, designers had a large space without walls and doors. It was necessary to turn the faceless dilapidated building into a cozy family house, while it was important not to lose the spirit of this place. In the decor, the designers preserved the original roof beams and windows, gave many things a second life. It turned out to be a bright country-style house with an abundance of natural materials, a large front door resembling a barn, and a spacious back yard – an integral element of all farm estates. As designers themselves declare, “this is a quiet and calm space that combines old traditions and new ideas.”
