San Francisco house: big renovation

This wonderful Victorian home, located in one of San Francisco’s historic neighborhoods, has recently undergone a massive remodeling. Outside, the house remained virtually untouched: the designers preserved the historic facade, replacing only the front door. But inside the house has completely changed: a lot of metal and glass, shades of white and gray prevail, bright color accents complete the interior. The living area is located on three floors: on the first floor there is a living room and kitchen, on the second floor there are bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom, and on the ground floor there is an office and a library, from there you can also go to the back yard. The mansion has a lot of light thanks to panoramic windows and the right color scheme. Designers did their best – the house retained its character and grace, and at the same time became modern, stylish and functional.

Не знаю, мне кажется, что в таких домах не хватает тепла и уюта – все слишком стильно и вылизано. Не жизни. Хотя мне понравилось обилие света и воздуха в доме. Но это мое субъективное мнение и я ни на что не претендую.
