You look at the fireplace, the carpet and the mirror – it seems that you got into the 19th century, but when you look up at the chandelier, the picture and the modern kitchen and you understand that it is still our time. The designers of this small apartment in London (48 sq.m.) combined the features of the Victorian era and modernity in one room and did it with the help of aged wood, old parquet, vintage mirrors and decor details, giving this house a mysterious flair of the past. However, from the point of view of comfort and functionality, this apartment is not the best example: there are not enough working surfaces in the kitchen, there is not enough space for storing things and clothes. This apartment is more for temporary stay than for permanent residence.
