House in the mountains of New Zealand

The history of this house in the New Zealand town of Arrowtown began with a tiny stone house. A few years ago, the spouses Belinla and Jeff decided to create a modern living space with a touch of antiquity. It was important for the designers to preserve the masonry and old floors as much as possible. The owners focused on naturalness: stone, clay tiles, Oregon pine, Australian parquet, cedar boards – each texture and color smoothly flows and goes into the next. This house has a character: he is stately, wise and magnificent. The interiors combine two styles: country and vintage.
