Minimalistic apartment in Vilnius (63 sqm)

The architectural bureau Normundas Vilkas had a difficult task – to create an interesting home for a young family in Vilnius with a small budget and within a small space (63 sqm). The walls in the living room and kitchen are shelves of white lacquered wood, which serve as storage and also hide the workplace with a computer by the bedroom door. The design is minimalist: open surfaces contain a minimum number of objects. The color scheme is also restrained with cream and milky colors, gray shades and in some places bright details.
