Architectural bureau Rolf Ockert Desing recently completed a project of an amazing oceanfront villa in Sydney. This villa was built on the site of a small cottage in which the owners lived for a long time. The unusual layout of the house and the open space allowed the natural light to abundantly illuminate the rooms throughout the day, while hiding it from the neighboring houses. The location of the house with difficult climatic conditions, strong winds and salty air played an important role in the choice of materials. As for the interiors, they are designed in a modern style, and the color palette is inspired by the rich environment – coastal rocks, sky and water. And, of course, the most important thing is the amazing views of the ocean through the glass walls. A great place for a measured life in a picturesque suburb!
