Cozy nest for photographer’s family

“The mood of this home is purity and serenity with hints of pastel shades,” photographer Jane Beiles describes her home in Connecticut. Jane’s family moved to this house with a fabulous facade from a huge mansion, they wanted a new home to be more compact and interesting. So the cottage built in 1916 turned into a bright and cozy family nest. The owners admit that the most difficult was to strike a balance between modernity and the rustic atmosphere of the last century. In the end, they coped with the task perfectly: the house has new furniture and decoration, however, due to numerous plants and cute little things, it is homely here. It is amazing how this space was designed simple and light and at the same time carefully thought out, where all the objects fit together. Great project!
