Heritage and modernity in design of Australian ranch

Since 1880, this manor in Geelong, Australia, has bred horses and the theme of the ranch naturally has become fundamental to design concept of this house. During the reconstruction, the main wish of the owners was to preserve the heritage of the 130-year-old mansion and at the same time give it a modern feel. Horses and a farm are present in a variety of interior items, ranging from copper open pipes in the bathroom and ending with saddles and paintings with horses around the house. Actually, there are a lot of accessories: and if the abundance of vases, cups, flowers and watches would look ridiculous in a small apartment, on large spaces of this mansion all this abundance looks more than organic. The windows are decorated by amazing stained glass, and the entrance to the porch is decorated with a fountain – a real luxurious home for people of noble origin.
