Once this building in Brooklyn, New York served as a home for three families at once, but in 2014 the Lang Architecture bureau transformed it into a single-family home. A luxurious wooden spiral staircase connects all four floors. From the side of the street, the windows are standard, and large windows face the courtyard – a small, but perfect for a family barbecue. Wood and light milky shades are used to the maximum extent in the interior design, and they are complemented by bright furniture and textiles. Due to the abundance of light and proper use of wood, it does not give the impression that you are in the city, the home feels more like a country house – both in size and in a cozy atmosphere.
