The owners of this chalet in the French Val-d’Isere are not of those who love the traditional design of alpine mountain houses. So they asked designer Nicola O’Mara to create a modern design for the project of their winter home, and this meant ‘no skis in the corners’ – as the designer recalls. Instead, it was decided to use soft tweed and woolen fabrics, and in the decoration – metal, wood and glass. In addition, an important condition was the opportunity to receive guests – a spacious living room with a dining room is perfectly adapted for large parties, and 4 bedrooms with private facilities allow you to accommodate large companies for several days. Great project!
