This private loft apartment in Mexico was born because of ReUrbano program dedicated to the reconstruction of houses affected by the 1985 earthquake. Modern apartments are located in the historic district called Colonia Roma in Mexico City, which was damaged the most. High ceilings and stone walls allowed to build a second floor, the entrance to which is carried out on a stylish staircase. On the first floor there is a social zone of a living room and a dining room with a full ceiling height and industrial windows in black framing. On the upper level there are bedrooms, a dressing room and an office. The contrast of black heavy cabinets and light furniture with thin legs enhances the compositional brevity of the design.
