Hotel Gotham in Manchester is not about pastel colors, cute paintings on the walls and tulips in vases – black color, metal and flashy prints rule here. The hotel is located in the very center of the city in an Art Deco building, that was previously occupied by a bank, in memory of which the hotel uses laundry bags in the form of old money bags. Here they pay homage to Batman, because Gotham (the name of the hotel) is a fictional city where stories about superhero take place. The overall style here is also similar to a Batman story: dark colors, poor lighting and talking details, for example, the bat do not disturb sign. The rooms are different (there are 60 of them): lighter, with bright accents, and there is a suite called Inner Sanctum – with a cinema and leather walls. The hotel is also famous for its rooftop bar and proudly calls itself the “Sexiest Hotel in Europe”.
