Transforming an old house is always a test, but an even greater test is when the old house is not yet built. This is exactly the situation the designer Christina Crestin has encountered. The clients asked for the construction of the house in the style of the 18th century, and Christina was given the task of creating a new interior design in the spirit of an old farmhouse. The designer chose colors as close as possible to nature: shades of natural wood, blue, gray; lime and terracotta for color accents. It is interesting that some items here can really be mistaken for antique ones: massive sliding wooden doors, as if they had seen the kinds of chairs in the office, a sink in the spirit of past centuries. This project is an excellent example of how making the new home look timeless.
