This apartment is located in a unique pre-war apartment house in the center of Moscow, Russia, that was built in 1911 by a famous local architect. Nevertheless, you can’t tell this immediately by the interiors which reveal a mix of loft space and modern elegant New-York-styled apartments. But of course, historical charm of the house still influenced the design, with old walls, gorgeous original doors and windows being preserved. Excellent integration of modern design into the old architecture!

Кроме портала ещё и окна “ненастоящие”, и потолок синтетический. Окна могли бы сделать с родной исторической раскладкой стекла.
Не понятна, в данном случае, роль потолочного карниза (плинтуса). Мало того, что он наклеен какими-то клочками, но и имеет цвет и структуру потолка, что зрительно уменьшает уже уменьшенную натяжным потолком высоту.
