The owner of this house all his life worked as CFO for a large company, but when retired, he wanted to be closer to nature. Together with his wife they found a half-ruined old farm in Tennessee and decided to make it their home. The main building had to be almost completely demolished and built in fact new, but the designer Barbara Westbrook gave interiors the charm of the past. Now the couple’s two sons and their wives visit often, along with three little grandkids, to spend an unforgettable time in a cozy parents’ nest.
