Chalet is one of the few types of present-day buildings that honor the past and do not hesitate of their roots. Almost always chalet interiors are above the time and history and it is impossible to tell whether the photographs were taken yesterday or 100 years ago. This traditional alpine house in the Swiss village of Verbier is just such – cozy and “like from the past”. One can be fond of modern design or Scandinavian minimalism, but such interiors will delight the eye anyway!
