This New York townhouse built in 1901 is perfectly preserved and reached our days in almost original condition. However, not so long ago the owner’s family decided that the house is not comfortable enough for five people, so it was necessary to redesign and adapt it to modern realities. The kitchen was too small and obsolete, the bathrooms did not have a shower, and in the bedroom there was a sink that was no longer used. After a long period of restoration, the designer managed to create stylish and cozy interiors for a modern family. At the same time, the historical part- with mosaics, window frames and stucco – is felt in every corner. Such a wonderful mix of the present and the past!
