New life of 100-year-old apartment in Barcelona

The building in Barcelona, where this apartment is located, can tell a lot as it was built in the late 19 th century. But despite all the rich history and magnificent architecture, the dwelling until recently was in an abandoned state. Most importantly – it got very little light, the rooms were gloomy and unattractive. It was this problem that designers tried to solve in the first place: they demolished the excess walls, increased the windows and just let in the daylight into the house. Now, it seems that these updated interiors are ready for 100 more years!
