If you skip some few attributes of modern life, you might get the impression that in this historic house in the state of New York time stopped more than 150 years ago. Beamed ceilings, old photographs and books, furniture from flea markets – the designer and the owners made every effort to preserve the necessary atmosphere in this old mansion. A special charm is created by an old stove in the dining room and a fireplace in the living room, which for the last hundred years have seen so many different days in this house. It’s great when old homes get a new happy life!
