Meanwhile in Spain people continue to convert old and abandoned non-residential premises into very cozy and comfortable homes. Most of our posts here are about charming countryside farmhouses, but today the conversion is of a slightly different kind. The Madrid architect Aurora Monasterio solved the problem of expensive housing in the city in quite an original way: she bought an old office and converted it into her sweet home. Despite the long and exhausting process of obtaining all kinds of permits and building works, the result exceeded all the efforts spent.
