We really like how Australian architects and designers fit modern design into homes with a long history. Let’s take this newly reconstructed period house in Melbourne: entering the living room it’s hard to believe that the house was built in the 19th century. But in other rooms, you can find charming elements of the architecture of past eras, which perfectly coexist with a minimalist design. First of all, it is a beautiful wooden staircase in black, stained-glass windows at the entrance, arches and wall decor in the bedrooms. Great job!
