When their children grew up and left home for college, Manuel and Sofia decided to find a cozy nest in the mountains for themselves, where they could come for weekends and enjoy the wonderful nature and peaceful time together. This small wooden house at the foot of the mountains in the Aran Valley in northern Spain was ideally suited for this purpose, but at the time of the purchase it didn’t look as attractive as it is now. Designers had to work hard to restore the appearance of wood in the interiors, add a modern fireplace in the living room and fill space with cozy comfort. What a beautiful and warm home!
