Traditional Christmas decor for family nest in Michigan

Christine and Gabe with their family live in a big city of Chicago, but they also have charming holiday home in a small town in Michigan. It’s a small farm house where they love to spend Christmas in a traditional red-green atmosphere. The home is made of wood which is perfectly combined with bright tones, plaid prints and fir branches. Every single corner here was decorated with love: bright textiles, lamps and red tableware were placed in the kitchen, and the bathroom was decorated with fir branches and festive trifles. The old sign “Apples of Michigan” which adorns the wall in the hallway also got a festive look – it was decorated with fir-tree garland and apples while winter attributes like hats, blankets and thermos were spread around. Very atmospheric and cozy home!
