Pale pink minimalism: Leman Lock boutique hotel in London

Leman Lock is a new 168-room boutique hotel in London’s Aldgate area. The concept of this modern hotel is based on a simple idea: the designers, together with the owner, wanted to create a stylish and comfortable space for young people, including professionals who come to London with business trips. Hence, such a bold, to some extent avant-garde design which can be described as minimalism in pink. Interestingly, almost all the furniture in the hotel was designed for this project: beds, sofas, wardrobes, tables — everything was created according to individual sketches. The designers wanted to create a universal space, which at the same time could become a guest house, albeit for a short time. Perhaps that is why they chose this friendly pink shade.
