This rental home is located in the small resort town of Golaš in Croatia on the Adriatic coast. The designer was inspired by the stone facade of the building, and decided to continue the rustic theme inside. However, he embodied the idea in a modern manner: comfortable furniture, gray shades, familiar to us appliances and light, and not a vintage fireplace at all. Nevertheless, beamed ceilings, aged furniture, chests, logs and old photographs helped to create the real rustic mood. Even more impressive are the porch and pool, surrounded by masonry walls. If done right, the rustic style may well decorate a modern home!
