The small alpine town of Gstaad in Switzerland is famous not only for its ski slopes, but also for its cozy streets with amazing chalets. And one of these houses, with an area of 300 sqm, recently was in need of a comprehensive renovation. The owner fully trusted the architectural studio Humbert & Poyet, but had one request – there should not be any of Alpine cliches in interior decoration. Designers coped with the task superbly: the chalet has not lost its charm, retaining its characteristic features, but the new design and furniture certainly added gloss and a little glamour to the home thanks to expensive wood, marble, gilding and exclusive furniture. In addition to the impressive design, there is a sauna, a gym, a living room with a beautiful fireplace and, of course, a balcony overlooking the mountains. The real dream of anyone who dreams of an unforgettable vacation in the mountains!
