Initially, the owners of this townhouse on the banks of Istra river in the suburbs of Moscow bought the house as weekend escape, but at the end of the renovation works they moved into to live. The client, a young family with two children, immediately made it clear that they were not afraid of bold shades – that’s when the idea to use rich dark colors in the design of most of the rooms was born. Studio Buro Vnutri, who worked on the design, offered a generally modern and austere style for the interiors, in which, nevertheless, there was room for some vintage and traditional details. An interesting and beautiful project!
