Before the start of the renovation, the total area of this studio apartment in the old house in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine, was 47 sqm, but after the demolition of unnecessary partitions, as well as thick layers of plasterboard architects managed to carve out another 3 sqm. And if we also take into account the mezzanine bedroom, which they managed to create thanks to 4-meter ceilings, then the useful area of the apartment increased by another 10 sqm. The interior design is built on contrasts: the brick wall is adjacent to the classic moldings, and generally light scheme is diluted with dark accents in furniture and decor. Excellent transformation of the old housing!
