Bright mid century modern in Houston by Jamie Bush

This magnificent one-story house in Houston was built in 1963 by renowned architect Harwood Taylor, hence the unusual exteriors that were characteristic for that remarkable period in US history. The new owners of the house really wanted their interiors to match the atmosphere of the mid century, but they clearly lacked color and life. The owners turned to the designer Jamie Bush, who filled the mansion with bright and fancy pieces of furniture and original design solutions. Extravagant works of contemporary artists, a unique bookcase in white oak, fashionable retro accessories – every corner of this house hides something interesting and unexpected. Enjoy watching!
