Juana Bautista boutique hotel in a 16th century colonial mansion in Mexico

This hotel in the city of Guadalajara in Mexico has a very interesting story to tell. It was in these places in 1821 that Mexico declared independence from Spain. And the building itself, where the hotel is located, is even older – the mansion was built in the 16th century. Today it hosts the luxury boutique hotel Juana Bautista. Interior design is built on a combination of natural materials with ceramics and printed textiles. The wide range of colors is especially mesmerizing: from shades of spring greens to the juicy color of pomegranate. Each room is named after famous traditional Mexican songs, which further emphasizes the connection with culture and history. A beautiful story about rich heritage of Mexico!
