The Polish city of Lodz has been known since the 19th century as the center of the textile industry. However, the third-largest city in Poland became famous not only due to the industrial past. For example, in 1888 the first cinema in the country was opened here, and in the design of the new Puro Hotel, designers just emphasized this cultural component of the city. The hotel has its own movie theater, which often hosts premieres and theme nights, and the rooms and public areas are decorated with works by local artists. The design itself is also far from industrial – there are many pastel colors and bright accents, light wood, marble and modern furniture. It offers two restaurants, a spa, a gym, and a rooftop cocktail terrace with stunning city views. A great reason to visit the city of Lodz!
