When history meets modernity: apartment in 150-year-old building in Madrid

The designers of the Spanish studio Abaton are convinced that the ancient decor elements do not interfere with the modern minimalist design, but even vice versa – make it more noble and refined. It is not surprising that in their fresh project in Madrid, fragments of rough brick walls, vintage doors and classic shutters perfectly coexist with simple modern furniture, minimalist decor and metal door slopes. An interesting design based on the contrasts of rough and shabby with concise and clean!
