The owner of this home, Marlene Rentmister, a native New Yorker, agreed to move to Los Angeles only to live in a cottage by the beach. She liked this house, built in the 1950s, but the problem was that inside it did not at all resemble a beach one. The interiors were outdated, and the rooms were small and gloomy. The designer redid everything, demolished the extra walls and used a lot of white. In addition, the rooms were filled with wooden and vintage furniture and colorful paintings. The living room was decorated with a table tennis table, while the main attraction of the house is the veranda and pool. Now Marlin is enjoying her California life in the beloved home, and her son even mastered surfing!
