Spanish style inspiration and a beautiful nursery: actress Shay Mitchell’s home in Los Angeles

Actress Shay Mitchell has been living in this house in Los Angeles since 2016, but her tastes and family composition have changed since then: the couple had a daughter. The owner loves the Spanish style with its abundance of tiles, arches and warm colors. But the new look of the house asked for more light, pastel colors and a classic base. Therefore, in the first place, the designer advised replacing mahogany floors with a more neutral option, and, according to Shay, this radically changed the mood and style of the home for the better. At the same time, it was decided not to design all the rooms in the same color scheme and style: it turned out to be a living room with a fireplace and warm natural accents, a black and white kitchen with tiles on the walls, another living room in cold blue-green shades and a delicate pink nursery. The latter wants to pay special attention, because this is a good example when a room for a little girl looks both stylish, functional and not completely childish. The designer also used an excellent technique with placing photos on the wall almost to the floor: it looks fresh, extraordinary and visually makes the ceilings even higher. A very harmonious design, which, according to the actress, is very consistent with herself!
