This ancient villa in the Italian region of Umbria belonged to several generations of one family from Rome, but it was the current owners who were honored to carry out a large-scale reconstruction of a beautiful stone house that needed urgent renovation. The family did not try to restore the traditional interiors, but preferred a laconic modern aesthetics with natural materials and simple forms. The main space of the living room and dining room is most impressive: high ceilings, massive beams, and a window on the entire wall with access to the terrace. Awesome home!
