When designer Gisbert Poeppler bought for himself an apartment in an old house in the center of Berlin, perhaps it could not boast of a modern level of comfort, but was saturated with history in every detail. Housing is located in a beautiful historic building near the place where the Berlin Wall used to pass, and also very close to the famous Checkpoint Charlie. Even the lack of central heating did not frighten the designer, who was fascinated by the classic spaces and decor. The new owner did not adhere to a purely classical style, but diluted the elegant basis with modern objects and bright accents. Let’s take a look!
