The old stables and barn of the 18th century 70 kilometers from the Swedish city of Malmö have been recently transformed into a cozy boutique hotel Wanas. 11 hotel rooms were housed in former cowsheds – the walls here are more than one meter thick, and the designer decided to keep this feature. Wooden beams, plain white and brick walls tell us that we are in the countryside, and vintage furniture adds a touch of grace. The living room on the ground floor is so cozy that it resembles a room in a residential building, rather than a space in a hotel. At the same time, modern furniture and decor feel great next to objects with history. This place is known not only because of the hotel – there is also a restaurant of the same name, where dishes are prepared from natural products grown on their own farm. A terrace is attached to the beautiful facade, so that during warmer weather you can enjoy a cup of coffee or dine outdoors. An interesting detail: in the hallway, guests can take rubber boots and raincoats and look into the farm or stroll around the area. The real charm of the countryside!
