After a long trip to the Himalayas, the owner of this magnificent historical canal townhouse in Amsterdam approached to ZW6 studio with a request to implement the idea of 4 elements in the design of his unique home. ‘Fire’ – this element is displayed in the design of the kitchen with its bold color scheme. The element ‘earth’ was embodied in the interior of the lower floor, which is connected to a beautiful backyard with a pond and beautiful landscaping. ‘Air’ can be felt in the space of the blue room and the bathroom, while ‘water’ has become the main inspiration for the top floor bedroom. Amazing home!
