This beautiful home is located in Texas, on a hilltop overlooking a quiet lake. The modern building made of wood and glass has an elongated shape, and different parts of the building ‘descend’ by steps along the pine forest. The rooms are compact, but each has large sliding glass doors that provide a beautiful view of the forest and lake and allow maximum fresh air into the home. In warm weather, the heart of the house is a large terrace with a kitchen, a dining area and a ping-pong table, and on the tier below there is a pool, a Jacuzzi and a sofa area by the fireplace. The home is designed as a refuge from city life and emphasizes a strong connection with nature – a great combination of coziness, beauty and meaning!
