It’s amazing that Jill Egan worked as a math teacher for 12 years before becoming a designer. Nevertheless, she is convinced that the two areas have a lot in common, despite the seemingly clear differences. ‘In both mathematics and interior design, it is incredibly important to be able to do the right calculations and understand the spatial geometry,’ Jill is convinced. Perhaps this past experience influenced her work so much, but the interiors of Jill Egan are simply flawless. They are sophisticated and beautiful spaces where natural colors and materials blend harmoniously with both vintage and contemporary furnishings. Such interiors are usually referred to as ‘timeless’.
