Modern canal house in the Netherlands (130 sqm)

In the Netherlands, a network of canals exists not only in Amsterdam but also in many other cities in the country, both large and small. Today’s home is located in the very small village of Linden, right next to one of these canals. The house is designed in a modern style with a black facade and protruding large windows, but the architects did their best to fit it perfectly into the beautiful old street. Inside, as is usually the case in our time, there is a lot of light and open space, the rooms smoothly flow into each other. It’s interesting how one of their living rooms has windows facing directly the street – any passer-by can easily spy on what is happening inside the home. Great modern dwelling!
