This modern house overlooking the ocean on Long Island turned out to be not only interesting from the architectural point of view, but also very functional – it’s protected from floods that periodically occur in these places. The building is elevated above the ground, and screens are placed on the lower level to help water flow beneath the living areas. The facade itself also deserves attention, it resembles a children’s designer and seems to be assembled from glass and wood-sheathed cubes. At the same time, the buildings are interconnected by glass corridors, through which the garden and backyard can be seen. The theme of geometry continues in the interiors: lines, cubes, rectangles and round shapes become the main tool of the designer. They transform the interiors no worse than a variety of decor. Great project with impressive architecture!
