    The “Gothic Quarter” never existed. It’s an invention from XX century, made by nationalists. It’s basically, a tematic park with modern arquitecture that looks gothic. Actually, if you look carefully many of the arches and gothic windows, you’ll see the marks of modern disc tools. And the more important fact, if you search old literature and history, never you’ll find nothing about “gothic quarter” but “cathedral quarter”. There is a lot of information in the net:
