Argentinian couple turned a dilapidated buidling into a home with a soul and creative atmosphere

While searching for a home, a young Argentinian family came across a dilapidated building with an adjoining garden. The space and the well-groomed street immediately conquered them, and the price of the property was within the chosen budget. Plus, it was a great chance to finally move out of the 40 sqm apartment the couple had been living in for the past six years. There was a lot of work to be done, but Katharina, the owner of the house, is a designer and artist by profession, and her husband Benjamin creates furniture. Together with craftsmen, they completely rethought the house: they changed the floors, replaced the broken glass, and also redesigned the heating and water supply system. Then the most pleasant part was coming – interior design, it turned out to be light, eclectic and as individual as possible. Katarina and Benjamin filled the house with dear little things, unusual furniture and, of course, paintings by the owner herself. She creates works right here, in her own workshop, and also writes in the garden, because it was thanks to the beautiful backyard that they decided to buy a house!
