This red brick home is located in the touristy Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, in the south west of England. The building used to function as a school – hence the large windows and an imposing fireplace to light and heat the spacious auditoriums. A few years ago, the house was converted into a residential one, but during the renovation, the designer and architects kept the original brick and limestone masonry, which is mined in the region and has a unique soft yellow color, as much as possible. One of the former classrooms now has a kitchen, and the main hall with a fireplace has become a living room. The garden is no less interesting: with several seating areas, a gazebo, a fountain and a wide variety of plants – from hydrangeas and dwarf thujas to wisteria and lavender. The house looks just magical, would you like to live in this?
