Like in Sweden: tiny and cozy summer cottage in St. Petersburg

The first photo can be easily confusing – the red facade and white window frames of this lovely cottage seem to welcome us in the Swedish countryside. But no, everything is much closer and dearer – this is a wonderful country house on the outskirts of St. Petersburg. It belongs to the designer Aida Beglova, who, during a pandemic, happily spends weekends here, and often stays longer. The family recently acquired a small plot of land in nature, and since there was no money to build a large house, they decided to remake the usual construction shed. The result exceeded all expectations – the home turned out in the best traditions of Pinterest, while the owners spent less than $4000 on everything. Small but so cozy!

    Pretty.
