Interior designers Xavi and Ignasi live in this eclectic, creative and interesting apartment in Barcelona. At first glance, the interiors seem too chaotic, but with each attentive glance, new layers and facets are revealed. It is based on tiles, doors and stucco moldings of the late 19th century, it was at this time that the building was built. The owners live and work here, which is why there are so many sculptures, paintings and shelves with books in the apartment – everything is for inspiration. The owners routinely and organically fit the objects of art and the work of their friends into the interiors: for example, the work of Juan Carlos Bracho “A Message for Annabelle” acts as the head of the bed. A collection of orchids and other plants beautifully frames the image of the Virgin Mary. Things with a 150-year history here get along well with furniture and decor from the 70s and modern objects – a beautiful story about creativity and love of design!
