Netherlands and Australia are separated by more than 15 thousand kilometers, but this did not stop designers from creating a Flemish-style house in Melbourne, but with a modern aesthetic. The interiors with dark accents remind of the Edwardian and Dutch Renaissance, and the rear extension recreates the Dutch facade of the house. In addition to black and gray colors, olive, mustard and wood shades are used in decoration and furniture. Marble plays a special role: its deep color and beautiful texture made it possible to create accents. The interiors are designed for a family with children, so the designer and owners decided only to be inspired by examples from the past, but to use modern forms and rely on practicality and comfort. A lot of natural light enters through the large windows, which balances the black color, and the competent layout makes the interiors feel cozy for all family members. Interesting idea and execution!
Charming.
Все супер, но стулья Gubi рядом с рустикальным столом как-то слишком эклектично.
