When the family of architects Niklas and Laura first saw an apartment in a 100-year-old villa near Copenhagen, they were sure that this was 100% their home. Despite the complexity of the upcoming renovation, the couple understood that the atmosphere of the premises with history is very important for them and that this is something that cannot be created from scratch. But everything else had to be literally rebuilt – the new owners changed the floor, walls and all the furniture in order to create the home of their dreams.
